Treiber’s Bel Air
The T57BA is the first watch designed and developed by Treiber Timepieces. Inspired by the timeless design of the 1957 Bel Air, this timepiece brings classic American styling to your wrist.
The design and development of this watch took nearly 2 years, with Treiber’s founder Hermann focused on developing a quality product, with a design that will last the test of time. Several prototype iterations of this timepiece were made that eventually led to the final design and material selection that you see in our production model.
American Assembly
Hermann Kugeler does all of the hand finishing, movement modification, assembly, and regulation in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. Hermann also makes and hand stitches all of the leather straps by hand.
The T57BA has very limited production, with less than 10 timepieces produced every year.
This watch features an automatic Swiss movement with day and date indicators at the 6 o-clock position. Treiber modifies each of the Swiss movements, in-house, to put the day indicator at 6 o-clock position. Housed in a 45 mm case, with gloss enamel dial and sapphire front and back crystals. Available in fully polished Stainless Steel or Solid Gold. Each watch is accompanied by a hand made and hand stitched leather watch strap, with deployant clasp.

Limited to a total lifetime production of 50 pieces, the Special Blackout Edition is everything you love about the T57BA, but with a sleek and durable black Diamond - Like Coating (DLC) on the case, caseback, and clasp.
Production is very limited with only a handful of watches made each year.

Inspiration
The T57BA is inspired by the iconic 1957 Bel Air. Design inspiration for this timepiece comes from the parts of the Bel Air that the driver interacts with most. Key design elements include the following: dial, crystal & hands inspired by the speedometer, case lugs inspired by the door handle profile, day indicator window inspired by the gear selection window, crown inspired by radio and dash knobs, and deployant clasp buttons inspired by the door handle button of the 1957 Bel Air.
